![]() ![]() I just got back in to the game after a break and have a pretty good understanding on how things work, best I've reached so far is Pro. Otherwise anything 80+ is good enough for rookie or amateur. So if you're planning to keep the same driver for many seasons while training him like I do, get a driver with high talent value. Basically 150 talent would be good enough for atleast pro. It has massive impact on wet races but otherwise doesn't really affect your race pace on dry. Since it cannot be trained you'll have to know what you're aiming for. Technical insight doesn't really matter in rookie, amateur or pro. so it's better to get a driver with high stamina and lower concentration since it's easier to train and it doesn't really affect your speed that much. Also the fact that yoga training AKA concentration training will drop stamina by -1 or -2 while giving +4-6 conc. Fitness training is +2 stamina and the other way to get it is testing which will become very expensive if you do it constantly. ![]() Stamina = speed, makes a huge difference in race pace and its one of the hardest stats to train. The recommended driver stats on that link could be a lot better. Personally if a part on my car is at 75%+ wear I either buy the same level or buy the next level up if I can afford it.Īnd for tips on driver stats, go on this link: For example, for the upcoming Kyalami race, I chose Extra Soft tyres and 75L of fuel for Q2, since the fuel consumption is very low and the tyre wear was medium, there was a difference of 6 tenths a lap between compounds for me.Īlso, another good tip, don't upgrade car parts unless you absolutely need to, otherwise you will find yourself running out of money very fast. I tend to decide what tyres I use on the "Fuel Consumption" & "Tyre wear" of that track. Hopefully you'll get the setup after 3-4 laps, and by then, you should be able to test different tyre compounds to try and find the time difference between them for that track. To get a rough idea of a good setup for the tracks, look at the track information and it will give you more or less every bit of detail you will need, which really helps since there are only 8 laps. I'm in rookie also, learnt a lot last season but now 1st in qualifying also. ![]()
